Congratulations to Oliver Gauntlett of Eynsham Cellars on completing the 21 day Purify Program with me. Here's what Oli had to say in his own words":- "When taking this on I had 2 main objectives:- Objective 1️⃣ Lose a few extra pounds as my shirts were getting tight. This was achieved and I lost 10lb over the course of the program🕺✅ Objective 2️⃣ Refresh my taste buds. As a wine merchant my taste is incredibly important to me and I had noticed over the last few months I was having a few issues... 🙁 When I'm at a tasting I regularly try around 100 wines, but I'd been struggling recently, as my palate had become dull and a dozen or so wines in I'd be really struggling to analyse wines efficiently.😟 Towards the end of the program I went to a tasting and I found myself much more sensitive to sweetness, and fruit flavours particularly. Most importantly I tried over 100 wines and at no point felt my palate give way. 😄🍑🍋🍷 The result has given me renewed confidence in my palate and helped me to enjoy my work as well as be more efficient. ✅ On top of these two objectives I found myself feeling fitter.🏋️‍♂️ Kim was very helpful ☺️ and makes the whole program easy to follow, with help at hand any step of the way. I haven’t found the programme hard at all because of the amount of food you are allowed and anyone with the most basic cooking skills would find it easy to follow. The best thing I’ve got out of doing this is that I feel ALIVE. I don’t feel like a sludgy mess and even though I’m still a big guy, I really feel like I’ve come along way in a short period of time and am excited about continuing all the way to my goals.
